IEC 61375-3-4 ECN + IEC 61375-2-5 ETBN

All Lantech EN50155 Ethernet switches comply with the IEC 61375-3-4 (ECN) standard. Furthermore, our Lantech OS3/OS4 EN50155 Ethernet switches offer an optional upgrade to ETBN communication protocols for future expansion, which also complies with IEC61375-2-5 ETBN for Train Backbone Networks.

The Lantech OS3/OS4 platform aligns with the IEC 61375-3-4 (ECN) standard. Its support for Ethernet Consist Network enables seamless interconnection between end devices within a single train consist, ensuring compatibility with IEC61375-2-5 (ETBN). For added flexibility, the optional TTDP (Train Topology Discovery Protocol) can automatically assign IP and Gateway IP addresses when the train's network topology changes due to adjustments in train cars. Moreover, our exclusive DHCP and VLAN over TTDP features facilitate IP assignment binding and VLAN segmentation within the ECN network.
